Important to Know This
There is no need to beat around the bush here. To be frank with you, back in college, that word "Networking" meant something else to me as compared to today. Those years back, when I was still sprouting, "I mean growing up," networking only meant to get my Wi-Fi connected so I wouldn't face the issue of disconnecting during my Zoom classes. It has been years now, and finally, it has come to my realization that interns at Microsoft are actually out there networking with servers, engineers, and not excluding individuals who have the potential to be future leaders.
Anticipating? Here is the good news.
If it had ever occurred to you to build some code that would touch a billion lives in a million ways (or maybe just want to build something that impresses your LinkedIn Connections), Microsoft's 2025 Internship Program is offering you that opportunity.
So, be it that you are a Software Engineering Intern who has a way around Python, want to master it, or improve on it, the opportunity is right here. Or, if you happen to find yourself as a Data Center Technician Intern who has a way around servers, or better still, wants to improve yourself, Microsoft promises to have a spot for you. And hey there, this is not for free: they actually pay you, and it's a good amount.
Asking Why You Should Choose Microsoft? Got You The Answer Below
Being an intern at Microsoft doesn't guarantee that you to only be pouring yourself some coffee every 30 minutes or 1 hour. It is more about innovations. What does the company mean by innovation? Here is the thing. The company has it as part of its mission to allow each and every individual, be it an organization or a person attain more knowledge. Knowledge about Windows to Azure, to AI Copilot.
What They Say About Their Culture.
The culture of Microsoft is based on what they see as their way of life in the company. Let me give you the breakdown of what I found out.
- Its culture expects every individual to respect each other and customers. This is to encourage good feedback from people.
- It expects individuals to work diligently and uphold integrity with high esteem. Shady shortcuts are not allowed.
- It expects you to be accountable. Playing games on phones during busy work hours, I am sure, doesn't fall under accountability.
The best I found out. As an intern, you don't work on PowerPoint Slides; yours are real-world projects.
