The Telecel Ghana Internship Program offers third-year university students an exciting opportunity to gain real-world experience in one of Ghana’s leading Telecommunications companies. This 2-month program is designed to provide hands-on exposure across various departments, including Finance, Human Resources, Technology, Legal & External Affairs, Commercial & Enterprise Business Units, Commercial Operations, and Digital Transformation & Telecel Cash. About Telecel Ghana
In February 2023, Telecel Group, a well-known telecommunications company with a focus on Africa and operations in more than 20 nations, made its debut in Ghana. Telecel became the largest shareholder in Ghana Telecommunication Company Limited (GTCL) after purchasing a 70% part in the company. Within a year, the business changed its name to Vodafone Ghana and greatly increased the size of its network infrastructure. Within three years, Telecel plans to add 2,500 4G stations and reach 100% satellite-to-mobile coverage nationwide. The goal of this ambitious strategy is to give Ghanaians better and more widespread mobile network coverage.
Who owns Telecel Ghana?
Telecel Ghana is solely owned by Moh Damush and Nicolas Bourg, who run Telecel Group throughout Africa. At a prestigious event called "Platinum Night," Moh Damush, the business entrepreneur, investor, Group CEO, and co-founder of Telecel Group, announced the launch of the Telecel brand in Ghana. With this launch, Telecel has achieved a major milestone and has an exciting opportunity to update, develop, and introduce new technology into Ghana's telecom sector.
A seasoned investor and entrepreneur, Nicolas Bourg has over 15 years of experience starting and growing companies in a range of sectors, such as real estate, technology, telecommunications, and innovation. At the moment, he serves as the Chairman and Group Managing Partner of Telecel Group, a significant telecom service provider in Africa and beyond. In addition to overseeing Telecel's growth, expansion, and performance, Nicolas is in charge of the company's strategic vision and direction.

Eligibility Criteria
The telecom company is looking for a:
- Third-year undergraduate students currently enrolled in a Tertiary Institution
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
- Student with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Student who is Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Student with an interest in working in a fast-paced, innovative environment
Important Deadline:
This internship is expected to start on the 2nd June 2025 in Ghana at Greater Accra, and it is expected to last for a duration of 2 months.
